Why I recommend it.
Andy Grove gives a concrete account of what managers produce in a large organization. He focuses on team output, better meetings, training, and choosing work that improves the output of others.
It is dense, but I recommend it to anyone who has started managing people and is still working out where their own time makes the biggest difference.
